Build a Make Shift Bong

OK, buildling a make shift bong is really simple. All you need is : 1 20z plastic soda bottle (sizes vary) 1 pen (or something else hollow to use for a stem) Something metal to poke holes in...to use for a bowl/screen Electrical tape a Knife

First of all, take your bottle and clean it out...Then rip off the plastic. Poke a hole about 3 or 4 inches from where the top starts. This will be your carb hole, make sure when you put your finger over the hole it will be air tight. It shouldnt be any bigger than ( ) that. Now, take your pen and take it apart so you just have a hollow little stick. Make sure it is easy to suck air through. This will be your stem. Now take the metal material you have (acrylic paint caps work very well) and poke some small holes in it. This is your bowl/screen. Tape your bowl to the stem, and make sure air can pass through the bowl/stem with ease. Now, poke a hole in the bottom of your pop bottle about 2 1/2, 3 inches from the bottom. The put the stem through the hole. Tape around the stem so it is air tight.

Now when you put your mouth where you would normally drink...and have your finger on the carb hole. Air should be sucked through the bowl. If not, you fucked up. Now pore in some water, not to much though, you will flood your stem.. Make sure the bottom of the stem is submerged in water though, just dont have so much water in it that you would be able to light the bowl.

Now, put the herb or whatever you are using in the bowl. Put your mouth on the top of the bottle, then put your finger on the carb hole. Light the lighter close to the bowl, and inhale. The flame should suck down into the bowl and burn whatever is in it, sucking smoke through the stem, and out into the water and into the bottle. It should make a bubbling noise. When the bottle is full of smoke, let your finger off of the hole and you will get a lung full of smoke.

The purpose of bongs is to cool down the smoke, or even give the smoke flavor. Experiement with these bong plans, they are just basic. Try to avoid things like aluminum for the bowl, this releases harmful smoke...even try to avoid plastic stems, a arrow for a bow works wonders, just break it and use it instead!

Note: Be careful when lighting the bong not to burn the pen too heavily. The plastic omits toxic fumes, which can hurt your lungs, not to mention make your bong taste bitter.
