Improvise Sex Toys

Introduction

When it comes to sex toys, many people have qualms about venturing out onto sex toy web site or, much worse, going to an actual sex toy shop. When faced with the social stigma having to purchase a sex toy, many people improvise their own sex toys out of commonly available household items. They are often cheaper than store-bought sex toys and quite easy to make.

Examples

An Improvised Vibrator

Buy a vibrating razor (such as the Venus Vibrance) and take the razor head off. Use the part of the razor opposite the handle--right where the razor head would go--on your clit and go to town! (Don't use this for penetration as the tip of most razors is sharp and can cause vaginal damage.)

The Innertube Vagina

Purchase or repurpose a bicycle wheel innertube. Choose a diameter that slightly smaller than the girth of the penis.

Next, cut off a length of the innertube (away from the nozzle) about twice as long as the penis.

Now, fold up one end of the innertube about 1". This will create a nice smooth, round interface.

Lube it up and off you go! Be sure to clean it when you're done.

You may also want to fold the end opposite the entrance over several times to create and enclosed orifice. Staples will fall out after a few uses, so you might choose to use a wrap of masking tape after each fold.

Objects that double as dildos

Organic

Large fruits or vegetables such as cucumbers and bananas have long been the steadfast make-shift sex toy. Before the sex toy industry was even conceived, a trip to the market could produce hours of pleasure for the intrepid self-lover. In addition to phallic vegetables, there exist several varieties of sausages (polish, kielbasa, etc) which approximate the dimensions and consistency of a human penis. It is advisable to cover the sausage completely in a non-latex condom, since the oils from the meat may cause a latex condom to break down.

Inorganic

Non-porous materials are easier to clean (i.e. NOT wood) and won't stain as easily. Harder substances such as rigid plastics may be tolerable as long as they have no sharp edges.
