Talk:Build a Make Shift Pipe

Is this really something in line with "after dark"? Yep, this article is within the guidelines of our mission and terms. Andy 18:06, 21 Mar 2005 (CST) [edit] Let's see if the other articles are deemed violations...Cwolfsheep 12:44, 2 Apr 2005 (CST) Andy okayed this page for now: I want to see how policy review goes for the other two drug articles before I pass judgement on this one.
They're both ok with me. Andy 12:47, 3 Apr 2005 (CDT)
Andy 15:58, 3 Apr 2005 (CDT) I really don't want to have three sites. I don't think there is anything wrong with having the drug articles and the sex articles on the same site. We don't censor what people are allowed to talk about sexually and I imaigne the people who would be so offfened by a drug article that they leave the site will do so anyway when they see the enema article of things of that nature. We need to worry a little less about a couple random people. --Dan 16:39, 3 Apr 2005 (CDT) Maybe if we had some disclaimer on all drug articles: not unlike my "warning" on Learn to Take Drugs, but shorter. I haven't seen much else regarding drugs on other sex-related sites, and "how to make drug paraphanelia"(sic) is the kind of thing I see on "Phreaking"/"Haxor"/"Anarchy" (non-political) websites. And considering how there's a push to remove psuedophedrine from the market (which comes also in allergy pills, which I take a lot of) for its use in Meth production, do we really want an article like Learn How to Build a Meth Lab? Stuff like that WOULD bring legal trouble: nobody's going to sue over if someone's vaginal fisting went awry; but there's hospitals losing money over chemical burn victims that tried to brew Meth & would be glad to sue someone, if not the Feds take some action of their own. Cwolfsheep 17:38, 3 Apr 2005 (CDT) If we're worried about lawsuits then i think our sister site Wannawiki is in a lot more trouble then this would ever have to worry about. We teach people how to fix cars and do all sorts of other stuff and the infomration has the same disclaimers that we have here. If someone is going to sue us they will do so because they messed up their engine with something that was written as fact, not because they learned how to make a bong. Just because we allow drug related articles doesn't mean we have to allow all drug related articles. If someone writes about creating a meth lab and its not in a silly, tongue and cheak fashion like the pimp article or others like that then we simply delete it. There is a huge demand for people who want to learn how to make various drug related devices and I see no harm in showing them the way.
--Dan 22:05, 3 Apr 2005 (CDT) [edit] AgreedSounds like a plan! Cwolfsheep 10:44, 4 Apr 2005 (CDT) [edit] my editI am not a regular contributing member of this site, but after stumbling upon the instructions telling people to use a gum wrapper as the bowl of a pipe, I had to remove it quickly. Tin foil is gross enough, though I'm not sure if it is particularly dangerous (like aluminum foil.) Gum wrappers aren't even real foil. There is no guarantee of their composition, and I'm confident this is dangerous/unhealthy advice to give. Quality pipes, especially water pipes (which are particularly targeted in the drug war's efforts against paraphenalia), should be freely available to everyone, so people aren't forced to smoke out of foil and all the other disgusting compromises I've witnessed. I really think that if cannabis users boycotted commercial weed (only smoke organic home-grown headies! mids and beasters are tainted!) and bought themselves either a good glass bong or a vaporizer, the world would start to observe the radiance and positive nature of this herb, and us smokers would have an opportunity to detox from all the nonsense we introduce to our bodies when we follow the advice of middle school kids (wiki contributors apparently) who are nearly brain-dead from smoking from aluminum pipes every day. - facemouth (I'm pretty sure I posted this incorrectly.. sorry!) |
