TheHumphouse.com (http://www.thehumphouse.com) is one such site. While it hasn't gotten the member base yet to be as big as the paid services, sites like TheHumphouse.com (http://www.thehumphouse.com) are growing. Many offer cool options to try to stand out from the crowd. THH for instance uses a HotorNot type script which allows members to be voted on.

Sounds partially like an advertisement for TheHumphouse.com to me...

Cleaned up article

I did a lot of cleanup on the article & threw in 10-20 more sites with context. I'm not sure if this should evolve into a catalog, vs. highlighting active sites with different versions of content. I could find more sites to add, but I believe there's enough variety to make the options clear.
